As I expected, my Walmart trip did not go according to plan. It's not a big deal though, because I still scored some pretty sweet savings:

Buy 1 Dove trial size hairspray: $0.93
Buy 1 Gold Bond trial size powder: $0.97
Buy 1 pair of clearance sunglasses: $7.00 (These were to replace my beloved Guess sunglasses that got damaged in the move. I got them at our last NEX for $27, but unfortunately this NEX does not have the same style for sale. I need a pair of sunglasses to hold me over until I find them again, so I might as well get a pair of cheapies from Walmart)
Subtotal: $19.19
Use 1 FREE Cascade coupon (-$5.47)
Use $1/1 Duncan Hines printable (-$1.00)
Use $2/1 Dove Hair Care product coupon (-$2.00)
Use $1/1 Gold Bond coupon (-$1.00)
Grand Total: $9.72 + $1.17 tax = $10.89 (Savings of $9.47)
This was actually separated into 3 transactions, since I need an original receipt for both the Duncan Hines and Lunchables rebate. If I receive just my purchase price back, I will be getting back $4.82, making my total expense $6.07. However, if they give me the full value of the rebate back, I will be getting back $6.99 and my total expense will drop down to $3.90.
Either way, I will get everything but the sunglasses for free after rebate. Things didn't go exactly according to plan, but I'm satisfied!
