Friday Round-up

I've been slacking on my deal-reporting lately, but at the same time, I just don't feel the need to report every single deal out there.  Especially when it's been posted on half of the blogs that I subscribe to (case in point: the Walgreens $10/$40 for this weekend).  Also, this blog is a reflection of me and what I do, not a mere carbon copy of other blogs out there, and as such I feel the obligation to keep you informed on deals that I will take advantage of, instead of every possible deal out there.  It's also the reason why I think it's useful to share my shopping scenarios but not all of the weekly CVS or Walgreen
deals - there's a lot of other ladies out there who can do it about a
hundred times better than I could ever do it.

That being said, there are still some printable coupons that I would like to share with you:
  • The infamous Walgreens $10/$40 good for this today and tomorrow.  As usual, this is after coupons and discounts.  I used it the last time it appeared for my EasySaver rebates, so I don't really foresee using it this week. I hope it appears again before my $30 in RR from the Robitussin deal expires though...!
  • Full rebate for Kellogg's Frosted Mini-Wheats blueberry muffin or Kellogg's Smart Start Strawberry Oat Bites Cereal.  The rebate expires 07/31/09, so there is really no rush on this.
  • A Babies r Us $5/$25 coupon good until Sunday, or you can also use these two sheets of coupons.  It's a great time to use the $5/$25 on clearance summer toys.
Make sure you check out how I got nearly free baby wash last weekend.  Babies r Us isn't the best place for cheap baby products, but if you've got manufacturer's coupons, it could make for a pretty good deal when you stack those with the $5/$25 that seems to be coming around every weekend.  Don't forget that they are also giving out coupon books at the register - the latest one has TWO "20% off any one item" coupons.  You don't even need to make a purchase - just ask a sales clerk for one.  The percentage-off coupons are more useful for big ticket items...I'm using one on an entertainer, and when my daughter was born we had used one for her travel system.

Happy shopping!
