Things I love Thursday: Tara Arometherapy Herbal-Ease Pillow

This weekend my husband sent me to the Spa as an anniversary present. It was arguably one of the best days of my life. Because he ordered the signature package for me, which is basically the best service that they have, I got to walk around all day with this arometherapy neck pillow. This thing, as far as I'm concerned, is a piece of heaven on earth. They were constantly replacing it throughout the day so that every single moment it was nice and hot. The tension just melted off my shoulders, and normally I'm really sensitive to those herb-y smells, but this pillow was just right - not enough to overwhelm but enough to relax.

And because I loved it so much, I bought one home with me. It's the Arometherapy Herbal Ease Pillow made by Tara Spa Therapy. This is a splurge for me, because I'm normally so frugal about everything, but I feel that it's money well-spent. I'm a California girl so I'm used to walking out in November with a light jacket, and this year I'll have to put up with unavoidable snow. There's nothing more warming and soothing than popping the pillow into the microwave for 2 minutes and sitting back with a cup of hot choco.

As an added plus, every time I warm it up and have it around my neck I'm reminded of my wonderful day at the spa. Short of the mind-numbing nausea-inducing receipt that I would rather never look at again, I have nothing physical to remind me of that day. Except for this wonderful pillow. The scents and smells just take me right back to that massage...and this thing lasts forever so for years and years I'm going to remember my our special day.
