Thanks for putting up with my absent-ness this weekend, and for all of the well-wishes for our anniversary. We really needed this weekend to just relax and be together as a family.
And today, I got treated to an entire day at the Mario Tricoci Day Spa - my anniversary present from my husband! He was right...it was better than diamonds! I got a full body massage, a facial, a pedicure, a manicure, and my makeup done. With the exception of a manicure, I had never gotten any of the above done ever before, so it was a very nice treat!
Granted, the whole day cost more than 2 months of groceries (!!!), but you can't really get mad at someone for sending you to a spa for the whole day. I'm just happy to know that we can afford it, but of course it'll affect our savings for the month. Still, I'm just really grateful because I have a HUGE difficulty with spending money on myself, and I would have never sent myself to the spa in a million years. I can talk myself into spending money for other people, but I have problems with treating myself to a cup of Starbucks, much less to a spa-day.
Anyway, I'm all spa-ed up, and I'll have a stream of new posts for you tomorrow! Our menu plan for the week is already up, but I've been slacking on my Mailbox of Goodies. I'll be updating that along with my CVS/Walgreens scenarios of the week, as well as my commissary shopping trip results. I also hope to be adding some new additions to the site, so keep your eyes peeled for some new goodies!
