It's been 3 months since we've been here, but I still keep getting those "welcome to the neighborhood" mailers. This time it was from Lowe's, and had a $10/$50 coupon and a $25/$250 coupon. We never shop there, so these will probably be going out via freecycle.
The next three things I received were samples/freebies that I requested. I got my Diaper Genie decals...I'll be putting them on the trashcan that we use for her diapers since we don't have a diaper genie. It's just a sheet of decals, so you can stick them wherever your heart pleases and not just a diaper genie.
Next is my DVD and pedometer from Tylenol. I haven't had a chance to watch the DVD yet, but I'm so happy to get the pedometer. It's fun for me to see how many steps I take on a walk with the dogs...! And lastly, I received my Child Safety Kit...something that I've been looking forward to for a long time. She's only 5 months old, but I wanted to get a kit started for her so that I get in the habit of making and keeping up with one. With our crazy hectic lifestyle, it's so easy to forget simple but extremely important things like that.
Not a lot of new freebies today, but here's four that you can request to beef up your mailbox of goodies.
Oh, and I'm also going to be handling my freebies in a different way.
When I first started my list of freebies on my sidebar, it was meant as
a fun little resource but it has since gotten way out of hand. Some
freebies take a mere week to show up on my door step, others will take a month or so. In an effort to keep things a bit neater, I've separated my list of freebies.
There is now a scroll-box of "incoming freebies", and another box below it with my "received freebies". If you request any of the "incoming freebies", do so at your own risk because I cannot guarantee that you will receive them since I haven't even gotten mine yet. If you're looking for a safer route, I would suggest going through the "received freebies", since that list contains all of the freebies that I have personally received.
Feel free to let me know what you think about this new system...!
