There are two CVSs in my immediate area, and I have dubbed one of them "my" CVS - they are possibly the best CVS I have ever visited. They're always so accommodating with coupons and ECBs, but the reason that I love them so much is that they're in a nice neighborhood and they have a "customers with infants" parking spot. I am so grateful for that prime parking spot that I am willing to go a mile out of way for this CVS.
Well, today I went to the other CVS. Mainly because I had to pick up my L'Oreal RevitaLift from 2 weeks ago. I love my CVS so much I seriously considered picking up the L'Oreal and then driving to my CVS, but I decided that I'll put up with this other CVS for since I'm already there.
Today's transactions went pretty well. The only thing that threw me off is that this CVS will not adjust ECBs down - another reason why I don't like them. It's not a biggie though, because I just grabbed 2 copies of the Reinventing Beauty magazine. I'll get the $0.99 back with a single coupon, so I'm not too worried.
I did three transactions today, and here's the breakdown:
Transaction #1
Buy 1 Always Infinity (14-18 ct): $4.98
Buy 1 Bic Soleil Razor: $5.99
Buy 1 Bic Soleil cartridge 4ct: $5.99
Buy 1 Reinventing Beauty magazine: $0.99
Subtotal: $17.95
Use $2/1 Bic printable (-$2.00)
Use $5/1 Soleil coupon (-$5.00) - $5 off refill when you buy 1 Razor from commissary
Use $1/1 Always Infinity coupon (-$1.00) - from Always Infinity sample
Grand Total: $9.95 (use $4.00 + $4.99 + $0.50 ECB)
OOP expense: $0.46 + $0.60 tax = $1.06
ECBs returned: $8.00 (Soleil) + $4.98 (Always) = $12.98

Oh, and that little photo scrapbook album thingy? I got that for free. I found it on their 75% off clearance table, but it didn't have a barcode or anything so they just gave it to me. I guess they're trying to get on my good side after making me wait 2 weeks for the L'Oreal Revitalift.
