To be perfectly honest, I didn't even realize that the Walgreens DD days were upon us again until last night past midnight. But then again, I haven't been altogether here this week. So I quickly pulled up a transaction this morning, and I'll head out a bit early before the baby's back-to-back doctor's appointments this afternoon to make a quick WAGs trip.
Unfortunately there's no $/$$ coupon to maximize the savings, but I still had to go considering I didn't get my November FAR items yet. I tend to wait until the end of the month for my FAR items, just in case there IS a $/$$ coupon or it's a rebate item for next month too. No such thing this week, but it's still worth a trip out for me. That, and I do have 2 $2 RR that are expiring today. I completely forgot about them, so it's a good thing I caught on!
Buy 1 L'Oreal Age Perfect Pro-Calcium Radiance Perfector, 1.7oz: $19.99
Buy 1 Almay One Coat Mascara: $6.99
Buy 1 Crest Spinbrush: $4.99
Buy 2 bioInfusion: $20.00
Subtotal: $51.97
Use $3/1 December ESR Crest coupon (-$3.00)
Use $5/1 December ESR bioInfusion coupon (-$10.00)
Use $1/1 Almay mfg coupon (-$1.00)
Use $2/1 Crest mfg printable (-$2.00)
Grand Total: $35.97 (use $4 RR)
OOP: $31.97 + tax
November rebates: $19.99 (L'Oreal) + $6.99 (Almay) + $10.00 bioInfusion) = $36.98
Item count: 5
Total coupon count: 6
MFG coupon count: 2
RR count: 2
Final coupon count: 4
Your item count must be higher than your coupon count, but any coupons that Walgreens does not have to send out to redeem (i.e. in-ad coupons or ESR coupons) does NOT count towards your final coupon count. So although I am technically using 6 coupons including my RRs, the Walgreens system only sees it as 4 coupons for 5 items because the ESR coupons do not count.
There's also a chocolate deal to be had, and while I love chocolate, I'm choosing to skip out on that deal this time around. It'll come around again, and frankly I'm just so confused on what type of chocolates I need to buy to use the coupon and get the December rebate back, and right now I really do NOT need to be standing in front of the chocolate aisle for 15 minutes. The deal will come again.

I am glad I am not the only one that had trouble figuring out which ones qualified for the rebate. Besides, I have over 25 bags of chocolate in the freezer from stacking november coupons with after halloween clearance candy.
Wow! I rarely shop at Walgreens, but am going to have to get more information now. Thanks so much for the tips!
