Recently, Walgreens and CVS have been competing for my undying love. Walgreens have paid me $0.25 to take 4 eyeshadows and Preparation H last week, and then I'm going to make a profit of $22.88 from the September rebates.
Well, CVS is not to be outdone, because when I woke up this morning I found an email in my inbox for a free gift this weekend. My gift turned out to be a coupon for a free pack of CVS Brand cotton swab travel pack with any purchase, and it's good thru 9/7. Since I already went this week, I'll have to go on Sunday so I can do next week's deals and get my free gift as well. CVS is plotting to get me out of the house on Sundays!
I like these travel cotton swab packs mainly for the little container because I can give them to my husband to keep at work for when he has to shower there, and then he can bring them home and I can just refill them. It's not a wonderful gift, but it's better than nothing.
Sorry CVS, but you'll have to do much better than that to make up for no freebies in September's ECB deals.
