Inbox Dollars current earnings: $39.41

Earlier today I mentioned that I was 61 cents away from my payout amount of $30 with Inbox Dollars. Well, I read a couple more emails and went through the cash offers listing again. I decided to sign up for a 30 day trial of Experian Credit Check, which yields $10. From my previous experience with the free trials of stamps.com and Triple Advantage, I feel comfortable and secure in signing up for another free trial.

I was so excited to be able to request a check...until I clicked on "Request Payment" link and saw that I am eligible to receive a check for only $36.41 - they charge a $3 processing fee! Now, $3 is not a lot of money, but when you think about how much Inbox Dollars pays for certain things, $3 is a small fortune!!! You would have to read 150 emails for $3, just to put it into perspective. By the way, a large percentage of their cash offers don't even pay out $3.

There is some good news to this - the $3 processing fee is a flat rate charge. So I've decided to just let my money sit with Inbox Dollars for a while. I'll request a check around September 13th, since this was originally an experiment to see how much I can earn in a month.

After I request this first initial check though, I think I'm going to wait until Thanksgiving or Christmas to request my next check...just so I'll have some extra spending money for those heavy cost periods. By the way, I'm only considering requesting a check around September 13th because with the first check I will become a Gold Member and be eligible for more rewards, and I am genuinely interested to see how much I can rack up within a month.

By the way, my earlier fears of rewards dwindling with time can now be set to rest. This past week I haven't had much time to do anything but read their emails, and now there are 82 cash offers waiting for me. Obviously I'm not going to take advantage of all of these since some of them require actual payments, but they do get new offers on a seemingly daily basis, so I'm confident in my ability to keep up this rate of earning.

Sign up for your own account and join me in my adventure to see how much money I can earn in a month. My new goal is $75. It's a high goal, but considering I already have $40, $35 in 2 weeks shouldn't be too hard.

Besides...if you aim for the moon, even if you miss you'll land amongst the stars!
