Beech-Nut

Earlier today I shared with you my Mailbox of Goodies, in which I received a mailer from Beech-Nut containing a $1/4 coupon for their baby food and an invitation to sign up for my FREE Beech-Nut Starter Kit. Well, this company is just so awesome that I have to share my experience with you.

I have no idea how they got a hold of my husband's name and our address to send us the initial booklet, but I am sure glad they did. Their website is just packed full of great resources - one of the ones that I love is their downloadable feeding guide. As a first time mommy, I am absolutely clueless on the whens and hows of solid feeding, and this guide really makes it simple for me. I really love the "Stages" guide on page 4 - so much so that I wanted to print it out and put it on my fridge. But alas, my printer failed me and refused to produce the bright and attracting colors.

So I decided to call 1-800-BEECH-NUT and see if they can send me a copy. There was NO waiting whatsoever, and no options to choose from. I was connected straight to a very nice lady by the name of Maryann who sent me not one but TWO feeding guides - one for me to tear apart and post on my fridge and the other to keep intact for reference. She was so friendly and helpful that it really brightened my day!

It is so rare nowadays to find companies who will connect you straight
to a live person. It is even rarer for it to be an utter joy to speak
with that person. I really applaud Beech-Nut for this, and will
definately be getting a box of their cereal for our little princess to
try. They have definately won my business and appreciation for showing that they value their customers and offering helpful resources.

If you are interested in getting on their mailing list and receiving a free starter kit, call 1-800-BEECH-NUT and just ask to be put on their list. This is something that I would definately recommend to all parents of young children, especially first time moms.

When my daughter was on baby food, I loved Beechnut too...got tons of coupons from them, and they even sent us a bowl and spoon! And I loved the fact that their food came in glass jars and not plastic. I got so much free/cheap rice cereal that I ended up giving it away to friends and neighbors once my daughter had moved on.
