The Loves of my Life!

This is my husband and our little princess. We've been together for 3 years now, and married for 2 years. We met in college (I was actually on staff in his dorm building), and when he left to join the Navy I kind of followed after I semi-graduated. Our little princess was born 6 months ago, and she is the funkiest weirdest baby known to mankind. She's got more hair than some kids three (or four, or five) times her age, and she LOVES being thrown, or bounced, or fake-dropped. She wants to by-pass the sitting-up and crawling stages, and just go right to standing. She loves to be read to, and she loves to "talk" on the phone. You can find out more about the little princess in my mommy survey, and you can also catch snippets of her throughout the blog.

Chip is our 3 year old rat terrier/sheltie mix. He is a completely ball/daddy obsessed FREAK. He has been known to sleep with a ball in his mouth, and a constant dilemma in a Chip's life is that his mouth is not big enough to carry more than one ball at a time. We adopted him at Petsmart when he was 6 months old, but he was a normal dog back then. As he grows older, he just grows weirder. Beyond his mental issues, he also has physical issues too. He was born with luxating patellas that he's undergone surgery to correct, and he also survived a coyote attack. Granted, that was caused by his own stupidity of squeezing under the fence to make friends with the coyote. If he didn't squeeze out, he would have been perfectly safe, considering at the time he was out in the yard with a huge pit bull, an even bigger husky, and his sister. His favorite place to sleep is on daddy, or under the bed/couch/whatever else he can fit under. Chip is a weird one, but we love him all the same.

Chloe is our spoiled-rotten boxer-shepherd-minpin-something mix. We adopted her from Cuddly Canines at 8 weeks old, and I love her to pieces. Chloe is my doggy soulmate. She's currently going through the process of training to be a guard dog so she can protect us all. Her tail goes about 500mph, and her favorite things include pink bunnies, "necklaces", and doggles. Chloe is also a germaphobe who won't go out if it's raining or if it's windy, and stepping on grass is a DEFINITE no-no. She also hates lightening storms, and will hide in her "room" (her crate) for the duration. Her favorite place to sleep is in daddy's spot on his pillow. I love Chloe.

Chloe and Chip is collectively known as "Chiploe", and you can read more about their antics here.
