Just a word of caution when marinating the chicken, especially as your little one grows, be sure to tie the bag tight or securely clip it (I love Twixit Clips) so that if the bag gets moved it does not spill everywhere. This is spoken from experience and I have learned to never put anything in the fridge that is open in any way, at least until my kids reach an older age.

Danielle
ldsmom2201 at yahoo dot com
http://juanshappywife.blogspot.com
http://homeschoolunitstudy.blogspot.comDaniellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01918096018159548309noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8704101475950309711.post-7167789631035527542008-09-10T00:33:00.000-05:002008-09-10T00:33:00.000-05:00Okay, as a vegetarian I have never marinated a chi...Okay, as a vegetarian I have never marinated a chicken, but your post had me wondering: is there a reason you can't marinate something in a glass or tupperware container? Then you wouldn't need to buy Ziploc bags OR reuse grocery bags from the store.

I try not to use too many produce bags, but if they are dry I do reuse them. I should really phase them out entirely.

You may be interested in joining us over at the Green Baby Guide for Thrifty Green Thursday.
